  • Bishops Corner

    in northern West Hartford, features a variety of businesses on its four sprawling corners. There are specialty markets and grocery stores, restaurants, medical services, automobile services and large anchor stores. Route 44 travels through Bishops Corner and connects the Farmington Valley with Hartford. Bishops Corner is undergoing a major redesign to make it even more attractive and user-friendly.

     is located on New Britain Avenue. The shopping center along this wide thoroughfare includes more than 20 stores, including coffee shops, food markets, department and electronics stores. Corbins Corner has easy access to Interstate 84 and Route 9.

The 1.3 million square-foot shopping center straddles West Hartford and Farmington.  A deck provides covered parking for 1,200 cars and there is plenty of surface parking. Westfarms has four main entrances that open every morning at 7:00 a.m. to host its Mall Walkers Club, a free informal walking program for all ages that takes advantage of Westfarms’ safe, climate-controlled area.
