  • Introducing Business.ct.gov

The wait is over. Meet the new one-stop business portal: business.ct.gov. A new way to help small businesses in Connecticut grow and thrive.

Business.ct.gov is Connecticut’s new one-stop business portal. The portal provides resources for Connecticut businesses while creating a hub of partnership for all business owners, large and small. The tool, designed for current and potential business owners, streamlines the process for planning, starting, and operating a business by hosting everything in one place.

    What’s new?

The new site will help Connecticut business owners easily access powerful resources for starting and operating a business:

    • New business registration
    • Access to licensing and permitting
    • Updated state guidance
    • Business planning
    • Resources for financial assistance
    • COVID-19 recovery assistance

With the website’s all-new business checklist wizard, potential business owners can now cut through the confusion and red tape of starting a business. The site can guide entrepreneurs through the business start-up process and provides a tailored checklist of forms, licenses, and guidance useful to open your doors.

Business owners can also access COVID-19 business recovery, employer support, and financial aid related resources to address immediate needs related to the pandemic.
