Marketing Content Specialist

Fogarty’s Home Services is a family-owned business that is part of a nationwide network of contractors that sets higher standards in the industry.  We specialize in basement to attic insulation, window replacements, and home energy evaluations.

Job Duties:

 
  • Write content in the form of articles, blogs, photo captions, case studies, and promotional material for websites

  • Develop content, imagery, and calendar for all social media posts

  • Achieve organization and department goals by accepting ownership in completing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

  • Find and coordinate all aspects of local home shows throughout the year, including but not limited to, signup, setup/breakdown, booth materials, budget, lead tracking, and ideas to improve show efficiency and conversion, if applicable

  • Oversee all external site listings and respond to reviews and external listings

  • Occasionally research and pursue award opportunities, including writing and submitted entries

  • Assist Marketing Director with a range of project and campaigns, as needed

 

Skills and Qualifications

 
  • 1-2 years of intern and/or professional experience in Communication or Marketing

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field

  • Experience in show or event coordination is a plus, but not required

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational, storytelling, problem solving, planning, and time management skills

  • Willingness to visit job sites to gain knowledge, take photos and write content for our products and services; reliable transportation is required

  • Open to learning new skills and being challenged for future growth opportunities

  • High proficiency with software packages, such as, Microsoft Office, Canva, Constant Contact, Salesforce

  • Knowledge of social media


Job Type:    Part-Time

Hours:        8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Salary:    $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
