The Annual Meeting & Spotlight Awards is a signature event celebrating the West Hartford Chamber’s accomplishments and recognizing members who have made a significant impact on the local community and economy. The evening also honors our Board of Directors, including welcoming new members and expressing gratitude to outgoing board members for their service.

Beacon Awards

Noah Webster Award: Andrew & Joyce Mandell

Established in 1989, this prestigious award is presented to an individual or business that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Town of West Hartford and its community.

Elizabeth Gustin Basil Women’s Leadership Award: Laura Sheehan

Introduced in 2022, this award honors the legacy of Elizabeth Gustin Basil, the Chamber’s first woman chairperson, who passed away in 2021. It recognizes outstanding women leaders making a difference in West Hartford.

The West Hartford Chamber honors businesses and individuals for their achievements and contributions to the community in the following categories:

Entrepreneur of the Year: Devonte Dillion
Community Impact Award: West Hartford Fellowship Housing

The Annual Meeting & Spotlight Awards brings together 150+ business and community leaders for an evening of celebration, connection, and recognition. This year’s refreshed format features interactive food and beverage stations curated by Chamber member restaurants, creating a more dynamic and engaging experience.
