What the Membership Committee Does
The Membership Committee partners with Chamber staff to strengthen the member journey from the very first interaction through long-term involvement. Committee members serve as Membership Liaisons, helping ensure new members feel welcomed, informed, and confident in navigating the Chamber, while also supporting ongoing engagement and meaningful participation.
New Member Onboarding
Membership Liaisons help shape a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience by improving how new members are introduced to Chamber benefits, programs, and opportunities. Their work supports clear touchpoints, helpful resources, and early connections that help members quickly feel part of the Chamber community.
Ongoing Engagement & Connection
Beyond onboarding, Membership Liaisons focus on strengthening long-term relationships by encouraging continued involvement in events, committees, and programs. Their goal is to help members stay connected and engaged throughout their Chamber journey.
Membership Liaisons regularly evaluate how information, benefits, and opportunities are communicated, offering feedback and ideas that improve clarity, accessibility, and the overall member experience.

Chamber 101: Maximize Your Membership is held quarterly and in person. The Chamber's staff facilitate this program help members better understand how to navigate and utilize their membership. These sessions provide practical guidance on benefits, tools, and opportunities, helping members feel confident in engaging with the Chamber and building valuable connections.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies
Ribbon cuttings are a great way to celebrate a grand-opening, relocations/expansion, or significant milestone. Our Membership Liaisons are often on-site and active participants in these special ceremonies.
