West Hartford Chamber Community Engagement Committee

The Community Engagement Committee is the heart of the Chamber’s most inclusive and impactful public initiatives. From the beloved Holiday Stroll to youth mentorship programs and wellness collaborations, this committee connects residents, schools, nonprofits, and local businesses.
Through its partnerships and events, it fosters civic pride, accessibility, and social connection—bringing West Hartford’s diverse community together in celebration and collaboration.

What the Committee Does

The Community Engagement Committee creates opportunities for local businesses to give back and for residents to connect with the people who power our community.
Our members help plan, promote, and support events and initiatives that strengthen community bonds and pride.

West Hartford Mayor’s State of the Town Address

Each year, the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce facilitates the Mayor’s State of the Town Address — an important community forum where the Mayor highlights key achievements, discusses ongoing initiatives, and shares future priorities for West Hartford.
This annual event brings together local business leaders, residents, and civic partners for an inside look at the town’s progress and vision for the year ahead. A networking reception typically follows the presentation, offering an opportunity for attendees to connect and discuss community development in a collaborative setting.
