Get in the holiday spirit on Thursday, December 5, 2019 with West Hartford’s classic New England-style Holiday Stroll at Blue Back Square and West Hartford Center.
This free, family-friendly annual event has something for everyone. Come meet Santa & Mrs Claus, see the Holiday tree lighting, sample lots of tasty treats, check out the window decorating contest, peek inside West Hartford’s fire trucks, and so much more.
Entertainment is showcased on two stages; one at Webster Walk in Blue Back Square and the other at the corner of LaSalle Road and Farmington Ave. Various different performers are being planned.
Stop by the First Church of Christ, 12 South Main St., to view their Festival of Trees. Meet the mascots strolling about, and learn about some of the animals from the Children’s Museum at Kaoud’s Rugs, 17 South Main St.
Isham Road in Blue Back Square will be closed for special activities.
This event is for all ages is made possible by the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce, Blue Back Square, West Hartford Center Business Association, the Town of West Hartford, and West Hartford Media.
WeHa Wheels will be generously shuttling:
PICK UP: Bishops Corner, Senior Center/Library EDENS Parking Lot @ 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, 7:00 and 7:30.
Drop Off at the Brunswick/Brace Rd intersection,
CONTINUE SHUTTLE until last 8PM departure from Brunswick/Brace Road.
