Tavern Night: A Taste of Ireland
March 16 and 17, 6 p.m.
Join us on March 16 or March 17 to enjoy dinner, drinks, live entertainment, and one of the most popular tavern nights held at the museum. Get your tickets today before they sell out!
Guests will enjoy a delicious meal featuring homemade Guinness™ Steak Pie from a secret family recipe. Sorry, grandma does not let us share the ingredients! Dinner will also include green beans, pickled beets, Apple Charlotte, and Irish soda bread.
Dancers from the Coogan School of Irish Dance will entertain with traditional and contemporary Irish dances. On Friday night, live music will be provided by Thomas Hooker Hanford who performs traditional songs that combine music and storytelling. On Saturday night, you will enjoy the rich tenor of Geoff Kaufman.
Tickets are $40, $35 for museum members. The price includes dinner, a complimentary drink (beer or wine), live entertainment, and tavern games. Additional beer and wine will be available for purchase.
While 'craic' was not in Noah's 1828 dictionary we can confirm that it means "fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation."
