Dear Friends,
We hope that you and your families are safe and healthy. Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is fortunate to be part of a compassionate, generous, and resilient community. We are deeply committed to the well-being of all of our staff, stakeholders, partners, and communities. With the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19, we are working proactively to protect the health and safety of our donors, partners, and staff.
The Foundation is taking steps to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and help “flatten the curve,” including many staff working remotely. You can review the steps on our website, www.hfpg.org. Because of the rapidly changing environment, we encourage you to check back for updates.

· We’ll reach out about previously scheduled events and meetings to reschedule, move to the phone, or adjust on a case-by-case basis.
Our hearts go out to the individuals and organizations most impacted by COVID-19. The Foundation, in collaboration with the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, has launched THE COVID-19 RESPONSE FUND to provide flexible resources to organizations working with communities that are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the economic consequences of the outbreak. The Fund is designed to complement the work of public health officials and expand local capacity to address all aspects of the outbreak as efficiently as possible.
We will be working with our partners to assess impact and need and take action. If you are interested in contributing to the Fund, please click here.
We are grateful to the philanthropic leadership of our community, who are working quickly and collectively to support those most impacted by this crisis. Together we can care for our most vulnerable neighbors, today and in the months to come.
