We know businesses have a lot of expenses. We also know that when it comes time to tighten a budget, some of the first line items to be dropped include extra advertising, training expenses, recreational outlets and participation in other organizations.
Keeping these factors in mind, the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce has put together a membership package that has proven to be a worthwhile investment for businesses. How can we be sure of this? We are confident in our benefits because they have been created by business men and women, much like yourself. In fact, it is these same volunteers who head our non-profit service organization. And, they govern the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce with the same care and concern as they do with their own businesses.
Through various volunteer committees the Chamber is able to aid in the economic development of the town, help foster relationships between business and the community, plan exciting events, such as our networking meetings, and make businesses feel welcome.
Our Members
Our members range from mom & pop shops to large corporations. In between, we have financial institutions, home-based businesses, non-profit agencies, manufacturers, consultants and service organizations. The number of employees in each extend anywhere from 1 to 100+.
Along with the great diversity of our membership comes a wide spectrum of individual needs. Health insurance has been a key concern, as has been affordable advertising and opportunities to network. Members have also expressed an interest in gaining a louder voice in the political arena.
By taking a stand with other members who share the same beliefs, their voice is not only louder, it becomes much stronger.
