Do I have to be a member of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce to apply for grant funding?
No. All 501(c)(3) organizations primarily serving the West Hartford community are eligible.
How many application will be accepted/grants will be awarded?
The Grant Committee anticipates funding of $5000 to be awarded at the discretion of the Committee.
Is a resume or CV required with the application?
No, however summary of Program Director qualifications is required in space provided on the application.
Is there an interview required with the application?
No, but the Grant Committee reserves the right to contact an applicant in reference to documents submitted or additional information needed.
Can we apply for other grant funding in addition to the WHCC Grant Program?
Am I still eligible to apply if my non-profit is still in the process of acquiring 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status?
Applicant organizations must have current IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt designation upon application date.
