Duncaster Teams Up With the University of Har

Inquisitive minds will get their second chance to exercise their brain cells at Duncaster on March 23. The Bloomfield-based retirement community has teamed up with the University of Hartford's Fellows of the President's College to present a series called "Tuesdays with Duncaster." Sessions will be held at Duncaster, 40 Loeffler Road, Bloomfield and are open to all. The March 23 seminar will be Digital Health by Dean Louis Manzione of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture. Digital Health is the monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of health conditions, both chronic and acute, through the use of medical devices, remote sensing technologies, wireless sensor networks, and data mining. Digital Health has the potential to help control healthcare expenses by allowing monitoring and management of medical conditions at home. Attendance is open to all and pre-registration for each event is required separately. Tickets are $20 per session for Duncaster residents and Fellows of the University of Hartford and $30 per session for others.
