WEST HARTFORD CHAMBER OFFERS MORNING SEMINAR

West Hartford – 12/17/04 – The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce is offering a monthly breakfast seminar series, “Train Your People, Grow Your Business”, to members and non-members alike.

The January Morning Seminar, “Memory Training” presented by Morning Seminar series sponsor Banknorth and event sponsor Connecticare will feature speaker Glenn Winfree from Dale Carnegie Training. Improve you memory – remember names, lists of ideas, and events. Be more focused and mentally alert.

The seminar is scheduled from 8:00 – 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in Room 400 at the West Hartford Town Hall. Registration begins at 7:30 AM. Breakfast treats will be served. Cost for West Hartford Chamber members is $9 in advance and $15 at the door. Cost for non-members is $18. Advance reservations and payments must be received no later than noon on Tuesday, January 18, 2005.

CHAMBER PLANS NETWORKING EVENT

West Hartford – 12/17/04 – The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce will be holding its January Business After Hours at Hebrew Health Care located at 1 Abrahms Boulevard in West Hartford. The Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.

There is no charge for members, no charge for potential member first time attendees, and $10 per person for non-members. Admission includes hors d’oeuvres, beverages and unlimited networking. WEST HARTFORD CHAMBER OFFERS LUNCHEON SEMINAR

West Hartford – 12/06/04 – The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce is offering a monthly luncheon meeting series, “What’s Happening in the Community”, to members and non-members alike.

The January Luncheon meeting, “The Economy in the New Year: Global, National & Regional”, presented by luncheon meeting series sponsor Hamilton Heights Place and event sponsor Webster Bank, will feature speaker Nick Perna, Economic Advisor for Webster Financial Corporation.

The luncheon will take place at Hamilton Heights Place on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 from noon until 1:30 PM with registration starting at 11:30 AM. Attendees will be treated to a multi-course luncheon buffet featuring a variety of entrees. Cost for West Hartford Chamber members is $20; non-member cost is $30. Reservations and payments must be made by noon on Monday, January 3, 2005. Space is limited, so please register early. Walk-ins will not be allowed.
