Halloween
Parade
The children of
West Hartford will
proudly show off
their creativity
and imagination as
they parade in
their Halloween
costumes for the
4th Annual
Halloween Parade.
The Parade will be
held on Saturday,
October 29,
2005 at 10:00
a.m., rain or
shine.
Infants and
children through
the 5th Grade are
welcome to march
in costume through
West Hartford
Center. Adults may
accompany any
children needing
assistance, and
strollers are
recommended for
infants. Parade
line up will take
place at 9:15 a.m.
in the People’s
Bank parking lot
located at 1013
Farmington Avenue.
The Parade route
will travel east
on Farmington
Avenue, right onto
LaSalle Road, and
will end in the
Arapahoe parking
lot, across from
the Post Office.
After the parade,
the streets will
reopen and the
children
(accompanied by
adults) will begin
trick-or-treating
at the
participating
shops and
restaurants. All
participating
businesses will be
identified with
flyers hanging in
their store
fronts.
The Halloween
Parade is
organized by Moms
& More along
with the West
Hartford Chamber
of Commerce. The
Parade is made
possible through
the sponsorship of
People’s Bank,
ConnectiCare, the
West Hartford
Center Business
Association and
the Town of West
Hartford. For more
