Ambassador Committee |

The Ambassadors are the "good will" committee of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce and act as spokespersons. The Ambassador Committee serves as a liaison between the Chamber and its membership, working to retain members by communicating and emphasizing the benefits of chamber membership.
The ambassadors welcome new businesses and make calls on current members. They perform ribbon cuttings, attend Business After Hours functions, and organize an annual Operation Thank You. During Operation Thank You, the new Membership Directories are distributed and the Ambassadors thank members for being a part of the Chamber. They are the conduits of information between members and the Chamber, and they love what they do!

Economic Development Committee |

This committee plays a vital link between locally and nationally-owned businesses, developers, and the Chamber member businesses. Its members are kept up to date on changes in zoning, policy, statutes - whatever will affect the business climate of West Hartford. The group listens to the concerns of our members and makes recommendations to the Board, including what should be presented to the Town Council.

The Marketing Committee is responsible for communications, promotions, and enhancing the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce in its mission to encourage the development of business and improve the quality of life in our community. In addition, the committee plans and implements opportunities for the membership to market themselves.
Whether redesigning the membership brochure, creating new marketing materials, or thinking of member marketing opportunities, this committee rolls up their sleeves every meeting. This committee also oversees the regular communications to members regarding Chamber programs and events.

Program Committee |

The program committee is responsible for educating, informing, and entertaining our members and the community. They perform these tasks through a wide variety of programs and events. This group does so much that they needed to be split into various subcommittees.
Breakfast seminars are targeted at educating members about a critical business need or topic. Luncheon meetings are held to keep the community informed about important issues. Member networking opportunities are created through Business After Hours (coordinated by the Ambassadors) events. If community spirit is at the heart of what gets you involved, then the Annual Meeting/Noah Webster Awards Luncheon, Cruising the Center, or the Annual Golf Tournament might be just the place for you.
