GREEN PRACTICES

The Green Practices event, held on April 22, 2009 was attended by hundreds of West Hartford residents and featured presentations by Maureen Hasley-Jones, The English Lady LLC, and Whole Foods Eco Czar Lee Kane. Exhibitors included local natural and organic vendors and green-focused businesses. Ticket sale proceeds were donated to Wolcott Hill School toward the purchase of solar panels in support of their efforts to be off the power grid within five years.
