Explain the dining experience you can expect at Fleming’s.

 

When you think about a steakhouse, many picture a dark, stuffy, pretentious restaurant where only business dinners are served.  Fleming’s works hard to break that mold.  We offer a comfortable dining experience for men, women, and families.  Diners can enjoy 100 wines by the glass and modern twists on the classic steak dinner.  Fleming’s boasts a lively vibe with music in the dining area and bar offering happy hour promotions.  Servers let patrons have the experience they are looking for, catering to their wants and needs.

 

 

Why was West Hartford chosen for the only Connecticut location?

 

We are honored to be a part of the West Hartford community.  Although Fleming’s is part of a restaurant chain, we make every effort bring the neighborhood feel to the restaurant.  Much of our staff grew up in the area and are happy to do what they can to support local events and charities.  It is important for me, Christian Schunmann – our Chef Partner, and Liz Hadley, our private dining manager to be visible to patrons and the community.  We want to put a face to the Fleming’s dining experience so when you do have a dinner to plan or want to enjoy a night out – we are the restaurant that comes to mind.

 

What can diners look forward to this spring?

 

Spring is an exciting time for the restaurant.  One of our most popular promotions will continue into the season. The 5 for 6 until 7 special features 5 appetizers, drinks, and glasses of wine for $6 until 7pm in our bar area.  We encourage you to check out our Bar Burger menu as well after a hard day in the office.

Beginning April 1st, Fleming’s private diners will enjoy a $150 gift certificate for booking parties of 10 or more.  It’s our way of saying Thank You for letting us help plan your dinner parties. 

At the end of April, Fleming’s will be introducing a handful of new menu items.  They will incorporate distinctive, regional flavors that add a little something extra to our prime cuts of steak.  We will continue to add new wines by the glass with a focus on Connecticut natives as well as organic blends.  For more information about what is new at Fleming’s, contact Liz Hadley, Private Dining Manager.


Fleming’s has been a tremendous support of the Chamber –our Annual Meeting and hosting a mutli-chamber Business After Hours event.  Explain how these partnerships benefit your business.

 

 

Business is a two way street.  The Chamber has been instrumental in connecting us to the business community.  Subsequently, Fleming’s supports a number of Chamber events.  We see them as a resource to businesses and the community.  Fleming’s is part of a large restaurant chain, but we are run like a small family business.  It is important for the people to put a face with our name and the Chamber is one way we make that happen.  We look forward to our continued partnership and encourage everyone to attend the Chamber's Annual Meeting on June 8th where Fleming’s will once again sponsor the cocktail reception.
