APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS

Connecticut’s Apprenticeship System prepares students for a challenging and rewarding career in many of today’s most thriving businesses and industries. Apprentices learn while they earn during a program of supervised on-the-job training. "At work" training is supported by detailed classroom instruction, so apprentices know how and why things work on the job.

Workers who complete an Apprenticeship receive a certificate from the Connecticut Department of Labor that proves professional credentials. These credentials are recognized and valued by employers across the state and across the country.
